Visit the Springfest Scholarship Gala
Sussex County Students to be Honored
The Springfest Flower & Garden
Show will be the setting for the elegant 12th Anniversary
Agricultural Scholarship Gala on Saturday, March 8, at 7:00 PM. The evening includes
a stroll through the magnificent gardens created by the area’s premier
landscape companies while being served butlered
hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. The guests will then be treated to a festive,
catered buffet dinner and desert. This year, the event will be catered by Krave
Café and Caterers of Newton NJ, and is sure to please every palette with culinary
delights with an emphasis on quality and detail. To add to the elegance of the
evening, the 18 piece Skyland’s Youth Symphony will perform, sending music
throughout the gardens. New this year is a Silent Auction with garden related
items.
The highlight of the evening is
the Scholarship Award Ceremony kicked off with a warm welcome by New Jersey’s
Secretary of Agriculture, Charles Kuperus. Agricultural dignitaries from
throughout the state will be on hand to present the awards. Scholarships will
be awarded to Sussex County students who plan to continue their education in an
agricultural/horticultural field. Scholarships
are sponsored by both the Agricultural Division of the Sussex County Farm &
Horse Show / The New Jersey State Fair; and The Freeholder Glen Vetrano
Agricultural Scholarship. Reservations @ $55. per person are available by calling

Fund.
