What are the dates and hours of the show?
March 12-15, 2009; Thursday- Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Daily ,
Friday 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Thursday is Senior Citizen Day - discounts apply.
Where can I purchase tickets and how much are they?
Tickets can be purchased at the gate. Adults $10., Seniors (65+) $8.,
Children under 12 Free, Senior Day is Thursday $6.

Visitors may re-enter the show for the day with your hand stamped at the gate, however the hand stamp does not allow for multiple day entry.
What is the best way to get to the show?
The Show is held at The Sussex County Fairgrounds, 37 Plains Rd. Augusta, NJ 07822

Is the show handicapped accessible? Are Strollers allowed?
The show is handicapped accessible. A wheelchair (if you don’t have your own) and volunteer assistants are available by advance registration. 973-948-9448 or email. Due to limited isle space , it is most comfortable to visit during off-peak hours. Strollers are allowed, however we encourage backpacks due to limited isle space. Children are encouraged to explore the exhibits with close supervision by an adult.
Is photography allowed? Video? During lectures?
Photography and video is encouraged throughout the show. If you require a tripod, please time your visit during off-peak hours due to limited isle space. Still photography during lectures is allowed with permission of the speaker.
What is the most comfortable time to attend the show?
The most comfortable times to visit the show are weekdays and weekends from 3-5pm.
Is there a place to eat at the show?
The Garden Café is open form 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily and Friday till 7 PM serving warm breakfasts, hot soups and sandwiches, salads and a delicious assortment of pastries, gourmet coffees and teas.
Can I buy plants at the show?
Visitors can get an early start in their gardens with a variety of plants, bulbs and seeds including pansies, perennials, hardy shrubs, orchids, violets, herbs and more. Each shop offers expert advice and will hold your purchase for pick-up at the end of your visit. Large items may be picked up at the entrance with arrangements from the vendor.

What is the parking fee?
Parking is free. A free outdoor shuttle service is available at peak hours (due to limited space) on the weekend when volunteers will be available to direct parking. Please dress accordingly. There is a customer loading area available for visitors with large purchases.

Who benefits from the show proceeds?
Springfest is a committee of the non-profit Agricultural Division / Sussex County Farm & Horse Show with proceeds benefiting agricultural awareness and education. The committee works year long to organize the show.
